It told the true story about how a scrappy, semi-pro hockey team won the hearts of the people of Thunder Bay while on their way to winning the very first Colonial Hockey League championship. Ryan Hill is a Thunder Bay based photographer/videographer and a product of Lakehead University. Ryan’s love of photography and video began in memory of a friend that lost their battle with mental health, in honour of their memory a love of the visual arts was fostered. Ryan has worked with many organizations, clients and businesses across Northwestern Ontario, documenting many events from corporate to hunting adventures in the area. |
MATT KINGEditor
Matt King has been editing for over 10 years in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He has edited various projects ranging from feature films, short films, documentaries, and corporate projects. Matt’s skill sets extend past the editing room as well, working as a camera operator for live TV and music concerts, live switcher/director for music concerts & events, and a data management technician for feature films and TV series in Northern Ontario. JESSICA GRAHAMAssistant Editor
After graduating from the Confederation College Film Production Program in 2009, and completing a Post-Graduate Certificate in Animation Production (2010), Jessica Graham spent the next 12 years working in the emerging Northern Ontario film industry, and currently owns and operates Thingamajig Film Company in Thunder Bay. Helping people share their stories through film is her passion. This has led her to work as a director, camera operator and/or sound recordist on a variety of projects centred around mental health, truth and reconciliation, consent and women's empowerment. In addition, for the past three years Jessica has been sharing her experience and passion as a part-time film professor with Confederation College. |
CURTIS JENSENCamera Op / Tech
Curtis Jensen is a passionate and earnest filmmaker who founded Apple Wagon Films in 2007. He has since written and produced films that have been screened on television (i.e. Bravo Channel, Much Music and The Movie Network) and won awards at film festivals. Curtis is an active promoter of Thunder Bay and hopes to see it become a prosperous filming destination for large and small scale productions alike. |
MICHAEL KONDAKOWOriginal Music Composer
Music has always been a part of Michael’s life and after touring Canada and the US extensively for over ten years in the Canadian rock group Poor Young Things, Michael decided to change gears and pursue a career in music production. His passion for production and thirst for knowledge served him well during his time in the Audio Production Program at the Harris Institute.
